Help! I cut myself on a lead crystal perfume bottle..?

This perfume bottle has a sharp corner on it and I accidentally cut myself on it when cleaning. It’s bleeding pretty bad. Anyway, since it’s lead crystal (Waterford from Macy’s) I thought I’d check to see if there is danger for lead entering my bloodstream. I’m thinking no just based on the amount of blood coming out. Last Tetanus shot I had was over 10 years ago
It’s a sharp puncture just over my thumb knuckle.

Apply direct pressure and get the bleeding under control as best you can. Since you didn’t say where you got cut… you might want to have a doctor check it out. You might need stitches. You use your fingers a lot and if you cut yourself near the knuckles it will open and close and not heal nicely. I am also not sure how much you are bleeding and for how long. You do probably want to get a tetanus shot, especially if it is deep.

General advice… keep it clean, dry, use anti-biotic ointment and bandage it.
