What’s a good recipe for Salt and Pepper crust on prawns?
I have a dinner party coming up, and someone requested salt and pepper prawns. Does anyone have a great recipe for it?
A very simple and tasty one would be sauteed prawns.
All you need to do.
1. Peel and devein shrimp (2 lbs or so since it’s a party, maybe more.)
2. Get about a cup of canola oil and add a generous amount of black pepper, salt, paprika, garlic, and herbs (italian seasoning) to the oil. I’d say a couple of tbsp of each, 1 tbsp of paprika and herbs.
3. Coat the shrimp in the marinade.
4. Heat pan to medium-high heat for 5-10 min.
5. Cook shrimp, tossing occasionally, for about 5 min or until firm and a bit of char has formed.
6. Serve immediately.
