Rate my diet – 16 year old male * BEST ANSWER POINTS?
Hi please rate my diet from 1-10, I go to school daily so it’s hard to eat little every 2 hours as advised:
Morning:
Bannana
Apple
20-30 Grapes
Glass of milk
Lunch:
Bowl of soup with mashed up rice, carrots and leaks.
Sandwich on whole wheat bread with 3 slices of turkey.
Dinner:
Big salad with tomatoes, onions, and mushrooms/Balsamic and Olive Oil dressing
Piece of home-made lasagna.
All I drink is water, and I guess I don’t get a lot of exercise daily, but I go to school and have TONS of homework so it’s really hard. ALL I DRINK IS WATER BTW.
I’m trying to lose weight so can you tell me if this is an OK diet. What should I fix/add?

You’re not really consuming enough for you’re gender and age.
You’re only having around 1,500 calories when the average 16 year old boy should be having 2,200- 2,500 for proper growth and developement.
Try adding a startch with youre breakfast- cup of wholegrain cearel/ granola, toast with peanut butter/ nutella, etc..
You’re lunch sounds amazing! Good source of protein, fiber, and vegetables.
Dinner’s good too, try adding a snack after dinner to get some more nutriton/ energy in. It could be some yoghurt with a granola bar, a homemade milkshake/ smoothie, trail mix, cearel, nut’s, etc..
