Question about the Coke ad on TV and cinemas…?
I think it’s a very witty ad with the Coke bottle having a cute and fuzzy send-off in to the wide world in an animated blaze of glory etc. But having seen it several times, I’ve noticed that it’s a glass bottle in the ad, yet I’ve not seen any vending machines that dispense glass Coke bottles. The plastic bottles have a twist & open lid and glass bottles require a bottle opener to open them (as far as I know), so that may be why! Anyone else noticed this too? Or am I wrong?
Yes, I know you can get glass bottles (from the supermarket or pubs & bars etc) But I’ve not seen them in vending machines as shown in the ad.
Haha, I noticed that too but when I mentioned it too people they said I was being pedantic. I have never seen a vending machine with glass bottles either, they would probably smash when they dropped and yes, how would you open them, the machine would have to have a bottle opener attached or something.
You can buy the glass bottles in Sainsburys though.
