Lead in glass, is it bad?
I recently bought some champagne flutes that read:
“Garanti plus de 24% PbO. Genuine Lead Crystal. France”
Should I be concerned about the lead in the glass?
Crystal is made with lead but it won’t get in the drink.
@edit Yes not all crystal is made with lead but certain kinds are. They wouldn’t be making wine glasses with lead crystal if it wasn’t safe (or at least they wouldn’t tell you they were).
