how many points on the star on real crystal?
I have a decanter that has a cut glass star on the bottom and I want to know if its real crystal.
Take it to an antique dealer and they can tell you if it is real or not. run your fingers all along the whole decanter. If you can feel a seam showing where it was two halves of a mold that were joined together, then it is just glass.
